‎Arriving home after #MillionHoodies March for Trayvon. What struck me today, what resonated most, is the unending, historical compassion Black people have for humanity. Because we are here. Marching. Because we are not at Zimmerman’s front door. Pulling him out of his house. Hanging him from a streetlight. Southern trees are not bearing that strange fruit. Instead we march Forward. With our humanity in tact.
