mending a broken spirit is an awful big task for one book. since books are often only as meaningful as the meaning you bring to them, id say no one book can mend a broken spirit. but the person who comes to a book open and willing to be changed by a story is already taking a step towards healing. try any book by Haruki Murakami, “A way of the Peaceful Warrior” by Dan Millman, or anything by Elif Shafak. thats a start. What ever it is that has your spirit broken, know that to heal is a choice we make in every avenue of our lives: what we eat, listen to, laugh at, wear, read—pray more than seek. seek more than you know. love yourself unapologetically. and love the people you love. fully. with no expectations. if that doesnt work, do whats best for your soul.
